Damn...bad luck.
Similiar happened to another past lister
("Coastie Bob"....Coast Guard Officer)
stopped at a red light with his daughter
in the car. Fortunately, both survived
and got out OK while the car was pretty
much totaled.
Bob (out of concern for his kid) just won't
own one for the time being. Problem is
kid really loved the car so he really can't
get another one while "denying" her in
this respect. Says he'll "be baaaak" after
she grows up a bit.
