Dave I was amazed you drove your midget out there, I know I told you a few
times, the admiration I had for you on that.
Early on it was said it was a sprite spree, to celebrate sprites, and that
midgets were invited, and I think I remember the quote "after all they are
cousins" I am glad you were there, and I am glad I met the rest of the guys
too, although at the time I had no idea who most of them were, I wasn't
monitoring this list at all.
Next time I hope I get over that closed in feeling I was having at the tech
sessions, I don't think I was able to last thru one entire one before my
heart was racing out of my mind. cant believe I got that claustaphobic.

You probably would not get it, Paul. This year they had every intention of
presenting such an award, but since the farthest anyone drove a Bugeye was
only 500 miles and my Midget was driven 750 miles to get there, they
apparently opted not to give out that award. They really need to make it a
little more clear that it is really a Bugeye Sprite Spree with others
tolerated. I had fun, but I was somewhat disappointed, too. Meeting Frank
and Chuck made it all worthwhile, however.
