Front end alignment, toe in from [138.89.177.185] at Thu, 24 Jul 2003 19:58:46 -0500

How do I set the toe in on my 77 Midget.  I checked the manual and it 
said to use a gauge.  Well I don't got one.  I searched the archives for 
the procedure on how to do this but came up with zip.

I remember someone doing it with a piece of string.  Any tips or 
pointers.  Where do I measure from and what is the distance?
