I had a Subaru for 6 years with the EJ18 engine (same as the EJ22, just
debored and destroked). I am pretty sure that it's too wide for a Midget.
It's way wider than the Midget engine even with carbs and distributor
hanging off of each side.
But they are lightweight and that one's turbo'd!
