You can get a 3/4" socket set from Harbor Freight for 40 bucks, sometimes on
sale, check their web site. The set has a 1-7/8ths socket included with it,
plus you get 15 other sockets ranging from 7/8ths to 2", a breaker bar, ratchet
and 2 extensions for about the price of the Sears 1-7/8ths socket. Lifetime
warranty too. Makes taking off the bearing nuts a snap. The original and some
nuts are marked "LH" on the backwards nut. Service manuals will tell you in
any case.
