RE: The real reason we switch from positive ground!

I read somewhere that the British originally used negative ground . They
latter discovered that positive grounding was less likely  to cause
corrosion. In the end they went back to negative ground in order to conform
to the world standard . This last part ( conforming ) does not sound very
British. Perhaps this was the beginning of the end. ;-)
