Greetings tuning perfectionists. My manuals all specify a spark advance of 8' BTDC at 600rpm. My cam will not allow anything like a nice smooth idle that low, the best it can do being 1000rpm before it leaps about complaining. Can anyone tell me where I should set the timing mark at 1000 rpm? I figure it should be a little further advanced..at the moment its at about 11 or 12 degrees BTDC. Andy |
