Hey Andy! I have the same scenario with the tach in my '77 Midget. Also had the same thing in a '77 MGB...start car, no tach reading, a little tap on the glass and zippo - instant tach. Anyone else? Hmmmm Terry Halifax -----Original Message----- From: Andy Webster [SMTP:trunkie@hotmail.com] Sent: Thursday, November 18, 1999 7:21 AM To: spridgets@autox.team.net Subject: tach probs Hi list, My tach (SMITHS electric) keeps dropping out of service. It comes on again when I tap it firmly. It's a bit annoying. Any ideas on a fix? Andy |
