Dear List: To which cylinder (or between which cylinders) should my vacuum unit point in order to give a good approximation of where my timing should be set? Midget currently is not running, and I suspect that the distributor orientation is the culprit, as it may have come loose from its mounting bracket. I'd like to do a finer timing adjustment, but with the car not running, I am not quite sure what a mid-range setting would be. Thanks, Charles '74 Midget (just discovered I have electronic ignition) cdsorkin@ix.netcom.com Bloomfield, NJ |
