OK, you got our attention <g> In the '60's Abarth made a muffler for
Spridgets with two chrome tipped pipes and looked great on a Bugeye and
sounded even better. It fitted to a stock exhaust pipe and the stock
mounting points but had a sort of oval cross section. No clue what they
looked like on the inside other than you could look stright through the
muffler. Monza muffler adds show a muffler that looks a lot like the Abarth.
We ordered one for our car (3 years ago) and what we received looked like a
glass pac with two exit pipes and incorrect mounting point. Called the
factory (Arizona) about this and got a rather curt "Well that is how we are
building them now and just drill a hole in your trunk floor to mount it.)
Guess what, it went back.
