Jeff and list,

Let me try this one, I think I know the steps on this one.

If the carbs are sucking in air (and not pushing any out) your rocker shoudl be
ok.

The metal rod test will work, but try it with a better ground (like the head or
block) to see if there is spark. Even better, if you remove a plug and hold
the plug next to the head.

Here is where I would start

1. Double check all of your connections on the ignition system wires,
particularlly the two wires to the coil.
2. I would then check point gap (could have slipped closed) also clean points
and all brass on the rotor and cap (use a emory board!!! sorry I couldn't
resist)
3. Replace points and condenser (I always do this as a pair)
4. Replace rotor
5. Replace cap
6. Replace coil

I don't think it is plugs since I wouldn't thik that could all go at once. Do
you KNOW that fuel is geting throught the carbs, or is it just getting to the
carbs?

I hope you get it going, I may be off base on this, but I'm sure I'll get
corrected if I missed anything, or stated something incorrectlly.
