Thanks for all of the responses. Sounds like leaving the seam intact
and replacing the top of the "t" is the way to go. I just couldn't see
drilling all those holes in that seam. On the inside, the seams are
just mint. I could never duplicate the structural integrity of the
seam unless I had a spotwelder to put it back together. Thanks again.
