While talking to Bill Bolton about the top to windscreen seal he mentioned
that someone had sent him a sample of the seal/windlace for a Spridget and
that it was the same as the Big Healey. The Big Healey has a two piece
seal/windlace, the rubber and the windlace are not molded together. My
hardtop, which I purchased from British Motors in 1966, had a one piece
seal/windlace combination that I've always assumed was original, but maybe
not. Anyone know anything on this subject? Did they change somewhere along
the way? Can anybody with a Bugeye/Sprite/Midget hardtop tell if their
seal/windlace is one or two piece?
