Yeah, man. I think of it as an escape from the over-insulated,
over-upholstered, air conditioned, wind tunnel designed, breakerless
ignitioned, traction controlled jellybeans piloted by non-drivers with cell
phones in one hand and Starbucks coffee in the other. Gotta love a car you
can rebuild with a 1/2 inch, 9/16ths, and a big hammer.
But then again I like Piper Cubs and Triumph motorcycles (not to mention
Thunder Pig, the 1950's vintage 707 I try to keep in the air).

appreciate about my LBC is the low tech nature of the car, since I live
and work in a high tech world, its an escape. I look under the hood of
my Midget and I understand how it all works, I look under the hood of my
BMW, I am humbled. Does anybody else think of their LBC as an escape
from the high tech world?
