The part about the rear "seal" was me improvising on how to get the little
cover plate back on the block right - I never asked how and my 1275 was my
very first British engine. It's the only way I could figure out how to do
it. Seriously, I would be quite interested in hearing how other people go
about centering the oil control upper plate correctly to ensure the
clearance around the the oil control scroll is the proper gap all the way
around the crank. I am sure this is very important to oil control and
there is usually more than one way to do anything.

next time), this is same way I was taught to do the job. Really works for
me, you should print it out and do it like he says. Dump the blue junk and
do it right.
