My preference is to remove the engine first followed by the transmission. I am
sure people like Frank and other more experienced people can shed some light on
this.

Hehe. That doesn't sound like fun, but pulling the tranny seems inevitable at
this point. I've never pulled an engine before!!! It's a 1275cc w/ ribcase
tranny. Would I disconnect the driveshaft and pull
the whole lot out?
