If you want to go with the straight shot front to back orientation, I
essentially agree with Joe, the room is quite limited.  If you're
willing to go transverse, like the OEM muffler is oriented, you can
install just about any performance muffler you like.  They all have web
sites showing the dimensions of their mufflers, so you can figure out
which one you think best fits.

My personal preference for a good sounding performance muffler is the
Dynomax SuperTurbo.  It isn't much louder than OEM mufflers, has a deep
sound, and flows well.
