The little black lucas component under my dash seems to be connected to an
on/off switch so I can only assume it is some kind of cut out switch? Has
anybody out there got anything like this from that kind of era? and do they
know how to correctly wire it? It has 4 wires running into it, one of which is
the earth. Not sure about the other 3!
Another question is that if it is a cut out switch, I have disconnected it and
the car still runs fine, surely it wouldn't start if it was one?
When it was connected it was draining the battery, if I reconnected it but
turned it off when not in use would this solve that problem?
