Listers -
I need advice - I am preparing to overhaul my 3-rail 4 synchro gearbox. This
is my first try at this but plan to use an overhaul kit (gaskets, snap rings,
circlips, synchro rings, bearings, thrust washers, counter shaft, needle
rollers and rear oil seal). I will also plan to replace the extension
o-rings.
My questions are:
1) Is there anything else that I should plan on replacing while I am there?
2) Are there any measurements/advice that I should take (read - save my
rear-end) that are not listed in Haynes or the factory manual?
