Ken,

I've used U-haul's auto transporter twice with no problem. The tire
channels are just narrow enough for the Spitfire. The inside edges of the
Spit tires are tight to the beveled edge of the channel. No problems, just
tight. I have since purchased a trailer. One of the best car related
things I've done.

We will be moving in a few months and I'll be renting a 12-14' van to haul
the important stuff we don't trust with the movers, computers, TV's, and
tools. Might as well tow the Spitfire as well. So, the question, what to
look for in a car trailer ? Will the narrow wheel track be a problem ?

TIA, Ken C
