Has anyone ever tried to modify a Spit bonnet the fit a GT6? I have an
extra Spit bonnet that I would like to use on my Spit6 project. I know I
need to recreate the "hump" of the GT6. Thoughts? Suggestions? I thought
of molding a fiberglass "hump" using my current GT6 as a form, and then
cutting out the Spit bonnet and attaching the new hump to it. Would cutting
a big oblong hole in the top of bonnet weaken it too much?
There has to be a way.....
