In a word, YES! But you have to make sure that you use a good solvent
to remove any wax, grease or film from the paint prior to putting them
on. I suggest PPG Acryli-Clean or NAPA Fin-L-Wash.

After you are done, you can then wax the surface to protect the seal.

Has anyone ever used the tape/mastic pin-stripes ? I've spotted rolls at
the
local auto parts store and was wondering if they are any good,
long-lasting,
etc.

Any ideas on what pin-striping would look good on a Spitfire ?
