Hi all.
Just got my Mk1 back from the trim shop yesterday and boy what a difference!
Trim panels are now the right colour, ribbing where it's supposed to be,
parcel trays in place - actually looks like an original Spit instead of
something out of "Home Improvements".
Only trouble is now the seats are too high - I'm staring through the top of
the windscreen frame - and I'm only 5'10"!
The upholsterer said he has put a 10mm board in the base of the seat frame
to hold the bottom of the spring assembly - can anyone tell me if this is
correct (before the car went into the trim shop the spring assembly was just
sitting on the floor inside the seat frame - which didn't look right
either).
