| Subject: | Three rail-single rail tranny swap |

I need to replace the clutch in my newly acquired Mk I and since the current 3 rail tranny has sloppy shifting, whining, no 1st gear synchros, etc., I was wondering if I could just bolt on my spare single-rail transmission instead. Is it a straight swap or are there clearance/drive shaft issues?
