I just rewired my parking lights and turn signals. I had a funky ground loop
as a result of corrosion on one lamp and a total lack of any grd. wire on the
other. I went to Sears and bought a small (~1/4") grinder bit like used with
a Dremal tool. I put this in my regular drill and reamed out the inside of
the fixtures and connectors and then the outside of the bullet connectors,
followed by a dab of dielectic grease and it works like new now. Seems easier
than phosphoric acid.
