I guess I've been spoiled from agricultural equipment.  The sleeves are much 
thinner, come correctly sized and honed, and can be removed and installed by 
the average farmer.  Cheap to.  A set of four sleeves usually costs about $100, 
$200 if you want new pistons and rings, $250 if you want the gasket set, 
$300-500 if you want a complete engine rebuild kit.  This excludes John Deere 
of course. :-)  Those green machines cost a fortune to repair.

Thanks for the technical skinny.  Always nice to hear from a machine shop on 
the subject of machine shop work.
