what are peoples thoughts. Is there a need/desire for this stuff? Pros/
Cons?
Anybody out there have more knowledge in this than what I have been learning
off the internet?

Hi Patrick,
My thought would be that it would probably be just as difficult as
developing an aluminum cylinder head, only the cyl. head would have a bigger
power benefit payback and probably more demand among the power-starved
Spitfire community.
I have heard that the MGB aluminum cylinder head is CNC milled from a solid
billet, which, it would seem to me, is easier than the casting, milling, etc.
involved with a bellhousing. How about a DOHC? ;-)
