Coolant normally enters the radiator at the TOP,
and flows down.

Note that both radiator hoses connect to the head.
The coolant flows into one side of the head, then flows to the back,
and then flows to the front of the head thru the other side.
Along the way, some of it goes through the block via
several small openings between the block and the head.

Water for the header and the manifold returns to the engine, flowing
forward through the pipe on the right side of the engine.

I figured out all this when I had my head off recently.
