I saw a thingy on Hot Rod TV once.
It was a formula for the diff ratio.
You turn the axle and count the revolutions of the pinion.
Then you use the formula to find out.

List,

How do you know what ratio your diff is? Is there any way to tell by the
number? Or do I have to crack it to find out? I have put a diff out of a
junker and my car seems to be much slower at a higher RPM. Which one is the
preferred one?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice!
