I just got a new seal in my small goodie-package from Spitbits and will
be installing it in the next day or so. At present my soft-top has NO seal
whatsoever. With the top closed and latched, it bows up slightly in the
center - I can see about 1/8 or 3/16 of daylight through the middle part,
decreasing to zero on both sides as it gets closer to the latches.
I've searched numerous Spit sites/pictures on the web and, though I
found nothing real definitive (99% of the pics are with the top down), I
think (or at least hope!) that this is fairly normal. In any case, it looks
like the seal is thick enough to more than cover this 1/8 - 3/16 gap.
Do you current seal-installers notice a see-through gap in the middle
also? Do any other listers notice a very slight rise in the middle of the
header when their top is up and latched?

(Who now has a R/V mirror that stays up & 2 proper latch-handles so I don't
have to carry a 5/16ths open-end in the glove-box anymore)
