I have SU HS4s in my garage, but haven't had a chance to get them on
because of my TR7 purchase so I'm still running the stock ZS. I was told
I could go as high as .110 off the head with the 9:1 pistons for street.
When I first got the engine back together it was running rich with the
previos carb settings. However, my K&N was soaked with engine oil by
accident so I switched back to the stock air cleaner and housing. The
plugs currently look pretty close to ideal mixture. Would different
carbs have an influence on the pinging?
