yes. it is hard.
other listers have stated that the energy used to part a hub from an axle
assembly was measured in 30+ TONS.
and it let go with a bang!
you may want to remvoe both axles and take 'em to a machine shop. WARNING:
some listers have had hubs destroyed in the removal process.
do not try this at home.
