Hello,

I was also concerned about this and called the US customs. They told me
that UPS and FEDEX have in house customs brokers that figure the import
duties and file the paper work, BUT the customs fees are only a small part
of what they charge you the rest is the price for them doing the paperwork,
which you can do yourself for free. I asked how you would go about
declining this service and the customs agent said that you would have to
get the invoice and file the forms yourself , but he was unsure how to get
the shipping company to surrender the parts without paying the fee. If
someone could check with their local customs office and see if they are a
little more knowledgeable than mine perhaps we can find a way to get all
our parts imported cheaper.

Glenn
