i havn't writen anything to list in a while, so i just thought i'd let
people know what's going on.

i'm currently in the middle of an engine rebuild, and i am fabricating
a custom radiator shroud from aluminum sheet. all the talk recently
about patterns for these has got me thinking about improving air flow.
what i'm doing is constructing an aluminum "box" to direct flow
directly from the grill opening to the front of the radiator. the
front will be about the same size as the grill opening, and the back
will be the same size as the radiator front. it will be supported by
the bolt on radiator supports and there are threaded insets in the
frame near the grill to support it there.

i was also considering ducting a ram air duct to the carb, similar to
the cold air box that another lister has created. however, i hope to
get a little more force behind the intake.

if anybody has any thoughts, i would be happy to hear them.
