The smaller flanges are from a MK3 or earlier Spitfire.  Be sure that the
axle length's are what you need.  As I mentioned before, the axle's (not
the whole assy, but just the axles here) from the MK4 and EARLIER are all
the SAME length (short) but the flanges on the MK4 are the same as those
used on the 1500 and later.  In '73 the axle length changed to the 1 inch
longer axles and retained the bigger flanges (which BTW came from the
Vitesse/GT6 range).  So, in short, what you have is, (1) short axles/small
flanges=Spitfire thru 1970.  (2) short axles/big flange=Spitfire 1971-72
and GT6 MK1.  (3) long axles/big flange Spitfire from 1973 on and non
rotoflex GT6 MK3.  By the way, the bolts are larger for the big flange also-
