bought parts from all over, but really needed a first/second gear hub.
one of the thrust washers wore down and wore into the hub.  also needed
new laygear assembly, reverse gear, and mainshaft.  as well as all the
little things that might go bad in the future were replaced.

i'd like to do some kind of restoration.  but i'd also like to put a
little of my own personality into the car as well.  i'd like to keep the
appearance of a stock spitfire, but i want something that will make people
say, 'great car, is that an MG?'  (just kidding..)  
i'd like to have a british car with my personality, not twenty psychotic
others that only show thier face when the sun shines.
