How do you determine 1. the spring load rating you would need for a given
project and 2. the rating of a spring in a catalog?   

Reason I asked was that after fitting the Mark III springs to my '79 Spit
1500, it has a bit of a "rake" to it (lower in the front). A 1/2" lift
would be just what it needs. And yes, I know that its better to replace the
spring than just put a spacer in.

Of course it'll only be a year or two before the new rear spring sags,
right? THAT oughta even 'er up! :-/

MY tractor has no such suspension problems...'cause it doesn't have a
suspension!
