powder actuated stud setter question

We have in the past used a 'hilti' gun to set studs... nail walls to 
concrete, etc...  our safety policy has changed and we no longer used powder 
actuated tools.

what is an acceptable procedure for disposing of about 10 boxes of the 
cartridge magazines ?????   don't want to just throw them in a dumpster... 
any clues ??   Hilti does not address this on their site
