I have the Siemens 8825. I've been reasonably happy with it. I've read
that some people have had problems with it, but mine has worked fine for a
couple of years now. It's 2.4GHz and $230 at Amazon, so it's not
cheap. An answering machine is built in as well. You can get extra
handsets with their own charger bases for $91 each. It has a lot of
features, and some people find it somewhat confusing, but being a technical
geek I haven't found that to be a problem. It uses NiMH batteries. The
nice thing is they are regular AA's. If they ever need replacement, you
don't have to buy a special battery pack.
