But there's an important point which is perhaps being overlooked, the engine
indiscriminately consumes air (assuming the exhaust is going outdoors), it
does not selectively consume O2. Unless you are living in a pressure
vessel, that air _will_ be replaced.
As long as it's replaced with fresh air (eg not sucking the exhaust back
in), you can't have an issue with O2 depletion due to the engine.
