I have used abrasive wheels on my circular saws and know they are sold for that
application. So they can at least run at the wood blade speeds.

PS, Lousy thing to do to a saw that isn't made for it. I replaced one bearing
on my Sears saw.

Would the speed be too high for the wood blade? Don't
know for sure, but don't abrasive wheels tend to run at
high RPMs, and the saw blades at relatively low speed?
Anyone know, cause I sure don't...
