Peter, get the price estimate for the MIG, in writing, including all the
bits and pieces (auto-dark helmet, leather gloves, wire, gas bottles, metal
to practice on, etc.); and the estimate for someone else to replace the cats
on the mini-van. Show them both to your wife.
Failing that, I know this muffler shop that will weld anything to anything,
for an extra $20 and a 6-pack...
