If the crank is a pressed-together type, you might be able
to get a crank-builder to replace the end that's broken.
That might be cheaper than replacing the crank.  You will
still have to split the cases and remove the crank.

Falicon is one crank builder I have dealt with.  They're good but
not cheap.
