  I have no experience with them, but I wish I
had checked into those q-vacs that are also a pump.

  When I was wet-sanding my B prior to painting, the
trunk was just filling up with water which took a long
time to suck up using my tiny shopvac. (suck, dump, suck,
dump).

  Sounds like a pump might be useful around the house
as well. The commercial shows them pumping a stopped up
bathtub out the window.
