Hi gang. The PVC air piping that's installed in the garage of
the house I'm buying is in the walls, covered up by sheetrock.

Does that make it safer? I'd think that the insulation between the
sheetrock and outer wall would give the air a place to expand into
and the heavy sheetrock would contain the PVC shrapnel.
If it damages the sheetrock that's ok, it'd mean that I would have
go through less effort to remove it.

I realize that PVC air tubing is sort of a religious issue on this list, and
I wouldn't have installed it myself, but hey, it's there, and they
even put an outlet close to the garage door so you can fill
tires on cars, something that my girlfriend has been wishing for.

However, if the PVC stuff can explode through the walls
with enough force to damage something, then I'd like to hear about it.
