Lee, I picked up an old canister vacuum cleaner which had a retractable
cord at a garage sale. I pulled out the retracting mechanism and cut
the plug off the end of the wire, replacing it with a plug. Mounted it
on the ceiling of the garage and wired it in to the outlet .
Total cost less than 6 dollars.
