There was a thread on the Fordnatics mailing list a short time ago about
welders and several people had some real good opinions. If you are on the
Fordnatics list dig in the archives for this, if you are not on the list let
me know and I will see if I can find some of the posts. FWIW, it has been
my experience that the "heavy structural welding" that you are going to
leave for the "pros" is easier that the sheet metal welding. If you can
master the sheet metal welding you can really do a great job on the heavier
stuff (up to the limits of your welder of course). When you get your
welder, please post your opinions on the list.
