yes-theres a system that makes a 6/12 switch that my dad always taslks
about. it takes teh 12 volts tot he starter for cranking but sends 6 to the
system for everything else.
youre gonna find more help at tractor places-they do that a lot but in their
case its 12/24 useing 2 12v batteries. but that can be used in the same
results for a 6/12
