TOM,
I believe that my truck is also an LATE LATE 1947.  
The Vin plack says "E" instead of "F" and the Front hood emblem is cast
instead of stamped stainless, The only problem is that Mine is a colum shifter
and the floor operated park break.  I've been told that these are 48 options,
and just wanted to know what yours had, Mine was assembled in Atlanta in 1948
"E", in november.
