I happen to love the BBQ'd oysters at the Marshall Store.  Enough garlic
involved to keep you going for at least one week.  My favorite way of
accessing them is by bicycle (Rivendell '02) from Nicasio.  That's about a
40 something mile loop and one deserves the oysters and garlic bread upon
arrival.  I have absolutely no objections to doing that drive or to the
Inversess Yacht Club, via motor car, in the Spring time.  Two drives
perhaps?  Living in Kentfield, I love drives starting from the Java Hut in
Fairfax.  Hoepfully, such drives will occur on a weekend when I am not on
call.
